When a Forum-like scenario is started by a subtle act, which calls for a response, an IRL Forum is born. A more primitive form of this practice can be found in the form of graffite writing on the walls of low-standard bathrooms or even the walls of abandoned or dilapidated buildings.

While the original practice, by its very nature, arose before the internet, it has matured into a more methodical form of free expression. The surest sign of an IRL Forum is the presence of Memes being used within the context of the given scenario.

What is most interesting is that participants have anonymity, leading to an idea that freedom of speech may be respected. While in most cases, the practice of creating an IRL forum could be considered vandalism, other methods have risen, such as the use of post-it notes, sidewalk chalk, and bulletin board spamming.
