My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!,(Japanese: 乙女ゲームの破滅フラグしかない悪役令嬢に転生してしまった…, Otome Gēmu no Hametsu Furagu Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta…) otherwise known as Bakarina, Otome Game or HameFura, is an isekai light novel series written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka. The series has been adapted into a manga series and an anime produced by Silver Link.
Premise
The series is centered around a Japanese girl who dies and is reincarnated into the body of Katarina Claes, the villainess of the otome game Fortune Lover. At the age of 8 she bumps her head and remembers her previous life and the fate awaiting her character at the end of the game. Katarina thus spends the duration of the series trying to circumvent her demise.
History
Bakarina started out as a light novel in 2014, and its first volume was published on August 20th, 2015.
In August of 2017 the series was adapted into a manga published by Ichijinsha. On April 4th, 2020, the anime adaptation produced by SilverLink debuted. The series' first season will run for 12 episodes, with 6 having aired as of May 14th, 2020.
Reception
The anime has been received warmly by audiences. At one point 7 ships centered around the main character ended up on AnimeTrend's top 10 anime ships of the week. The anime holds an average of 7.5 on IMDb[1] and 7.8 on MyAnimeList.[2] The series has also had a notable presence online, with the main character being affectionately nicknamed "Bakarina" due to her denseness, and becoming a popular subject of ships with other characters, to the point where ships involving her dominated the "top ships" chart for week 4 of 2020's Spring season on Anime Trending (shown below)

The series has developed a fandom on /r/animemes, where fans will joke about the series. For example, on May 9th, 2020, user FlashDaggerX[3] posted an image joking about the series that gained over 950 points (shown below, left). On May 7th, user alineoffline[4] posted a meme that gained over 530 points (shown below, right).
