ReLIFE is a Japanese webtoon series written and illustrated by Yayoiso. The series revolved around a 27-year old unemployed man who takes a pill to rejuvenate him by ten years, forcing him to reenroll as a high school student. Since starting in 2013, the series has been adapted as an anime and feature film. The series came to an end on March 10th, 2018.

History

ReLIFE was written and illustrated by Yayoiso.[1] The first issue was uploaded on October 12th, 2013. The series has run 229 issues as of March 16th, 2018.

夜宵 ReLFE リライフ

The manga was first published on the Comico app in 2013, and physical copies of the manga began being published in 2014. The manga came to an end on March 10th, 2018. As of February 8th, 2016, the manga had sold over 1 million copies, and by October of that year, had been downloaded over 20 million times.

Anime

On February 13th, 2015, it was announced that the series would be adapted to an anime. Crunchyroll uploaded a trailer for the anime on July 1st, 2016 (shown below).

The anime aired on July 2nd, 2016. A four-episode finale to the anime will stream on March 21st, 2018 on Amazon Prime Video.

Online Presence

The series grew popular online and developed a strong fandom. A subreddit for the series has over 4,300 subscribers.[2] The anime has a rating of 8.1 on myanimelist[3] from 204,000 voters.
