Tomorrow's Teachings

Overview

Tomorrow's Teachings is an anthology web series in which each episode acts as a one-off short film, aiming to teach viewers a specific moral lesson, similar to Dhar Mann Studios' content. The Tomorrow's Teachings YouTube channel began posting in November 2021 and became increasingly well-known over the following years for its bizarre and unhinged video topics, including titles like "White Kid Shamed For His Small Weiner," "Kid Sleeps With a Lady Boy On Accident" and "Karen Makes Indian Take Bath." The channel gradually became the subject of more reactions in mid-2024. It has been hypothesized that the channel's content is satirical, while others hypothesize that it is rage bait made to illicit anger and views.

History

On November 1st, 2021, Tomorrow's Teachings uploaded their first episode to YouTube,^[1] garnering over 45,000 views in just over two years (shown below). The video, titled, "Soccer Boys BULLY Gay Player, What Happens Next Will Surprise You," depicts a teen soccer player who is bullied off the field for being gay. Later that day, a woman talks with him and tells him to "show them you're better than them." He goes back to the field and bets the bullies he can beat them two against one. The protagonist beats the bullies and teaches them that gay people are just as good at sports as straight people.

The videos became increasingly popularized over the following years as the topics became more problematic and unhinged.

On March 20th, 2023, the YouTuber^[2] uploaded an episode titled "Hot Mom Takes Autistic Son's D**k Pic, You Won't Believe IT!" in which a mother blackmails her son, who she is forcing to pretend to be autistic, by taking elicit photos of him, garnering over 800,000 views in a year (shown below, left). On January 19th, 2024, the YouTuber^[3] uploaded a video titled "Special Needs Girl Looses Her V-Card, She Loves IT!" garnering over 300,000 views in five months (shown below, right).

On May 17th, the YouTuber^[4] uploaded a video titled "Black Kid Drowns In Pool, You Won’t Believe It," garnering over 317,000 views in a month (shown below, left).

On May 31st, 2024, the YouTuber^[5] uploaded a video titled "Kid Sleeps With A Lady Boy On Accident, You Won’t Believe It!" garnering over 180,000 views in a week (shown below, right). In the video, a high school student hooks up with a transgender girl, thinking she's a biological female. He falls in love with her and they start dating. His priest and religious father try to stop their relationship. After he tells his dad they're going to get married, his dad reacts violently and the high school student beats his dad to death. The priest then arrives at the home and berates the trans-girl, resulting in her using some sort of magic powers to subdue him and "unearth haunting memories" from his past, revealing him as predator, closeted homosexual and KKK member. In the end, the priest is arrested for life and it is explained that the students get married and change genders five times throughout their history together.

Online Presence

As the channel grew in popularity throughout the early 2020s, its content became the subject of reactions online. For example, on May 17th, 2024, YouTuber^[6] ImStillDontai posted a video reacting to the "Kid Drowns in Pool" video, garnering over 250,000 views in a month (shown below, left). On May 27th, YouTuber^[7] YourRAGE posted a reaction that gained over 150,000 views in two weeks (shown below, right).

On May 31st, 2024, X^[8] user @joe_applebrook posted a clip from the "Lady Boy" episode, writing, "New Tomorrow’s Teachings episode is simultaneously pro-trans and transphobic to the point where I have no idea which side is being written ironically and which side the writers actually agree with," garnering over 1,500 likes in two weeks (shown below). On June 6th, X^[9] user @roobi64 posted a clip from the same episode, garnering over 60,000 likes in five days.
