The "Taste The Biscuit" Song, known alongside the Chrome Beach Biscuit Lady and also referred to as the Silver Beach Biscuit Lady, refers to a TikTok trend that uses a filter called "Vacation Walk" along with the song "Taste The Biscuit" by "Toasters N Moose," originally featured in a 2011 YouTube video and movie called Chickens in the Shadows. After going viral in September 2022, the trend was referenced as the "Chrome Beach Biscuit Lady side of TikTok."
Origin
On June 12th, 2011, the YouTube video "Taste The Biscuit" was uploaded to the platform by the channel of Vincent Gargiulo. The video was an excerpt from the movie Chickens in the Shadows, originally released in 2010.[1] Vincent Gargiulo was the director of the film, which followed the 70s rock duo Toasters N Moose. The YouTube video of them performing "Taste The Biscuit" in the movie earned roughly 241,700 views in 11 years (shown below).
On July 25th, 2022, the YouTube video was screen-recorded and reposted to TikTok by TikToker[2] xdogface_xx, whose video received roughly 1 million plays and 95,000 likes in two months (shown below, left). On September 19th, 2022, TikToker[3] jennersparkles74 used the "Vacation Walk" TikTok[4] filter and lip-dubbed the song, gaining roughly 18,400 plays and 2,300 likes in nine days (shown below, right).

On September 22nd, 2022, TikToker[5] sludgeking1 added to the trend, recording a similar lip dub video with the "Vacation Walk" filter, gaining roughly 120,700 plays and 19,300 likes in six days (shown below, left). On September 24th, 2022, TikToker[6] kindofkai followed the format but joked about how she was trying to free the chrome woman from "the matrix," gaining roughly 107,100 plays and 21,500 likes in four days (shown below, right).
