The Denver Nuggets Jeans, also known as, The Denver Nuggets Drip, refers to a viral video of a man in a convenience store wearing a yellow polo shirt and hat plus a pair of jeans with the Denver Nuggets NBA logo stitched on the back pocket. Additionally, all the people in the video are having funny reactions to him, hyping him up and saying things like, "Are you seeing this?" The video was first posted to Facebook in mid-2019 and has since received multiple parodies on platforms like TikTok.

Origin

On July 18th, 2019, Facebook^[1][2] user Stoney DaJet posted two videos of a man wearing a yellow outfit along with some Denver Nuggets jeans. He followed him outside and asked him to take a picture real quick. He continued to say, "Look at the fucking drip," and, "Are you shitting me?" while the man posed and flashed a peace sign. Over the course of three years, the first video (not able to be embedded) received roughly 269,000 views and over 750 reactions while the second video (shown below) received roughly 1 million views and 2,100 reactions.

The first viral repost of the video was posted on July 21st, 2019 by Twitter^[3] user JossCus who captioned it,"Maaaan, I love my city," and earned roughly 111,100 likes and 8 million views over the course of three years (shown below).

Going into 2019, 2020 and 2022, multiple users posted memes and tweets about the Denver Nuggets Jeans, using the man as an image macro and referencing the cameraman's catchphrases. For instance, on July 22nd, 2019, Twitter^[4] user POE_Ro captioned a photo of the man and earned roughly 1,500 likes in three years (shown below, left). On June 2nd, 2021, Twitter^[5] user thaboyjozu tweeted, "'MY SON GOT THE DENVER NUGGETS JEANS, ARE YOU SHITTIN ME,'" earning roughly 4,000 likes in 10 months (shown below, right).

The Denver Nuggets Jeans Guy After They Won The 2023 Finals

On June 2nd, 2023, Twitter^[6] user @DuvalierJohnson tweeted a video of what appeared to be the Denver Nuggets Jeans guy after the Nuggets took a 1-0 lead in the 2023 NBA Finals, gaining roughly 3,200 likes in 11 days. After the Nuggets won The Finals, on June 12th, 2023, Twitter^[7] user @RB9GotNext reposted the video, captioning it, "No way found the 'Denver nuggets jeans' guy after they won the chip LMFAOO," gaining roughly 32,300 likes in less than a day (shown below).
