There is Only One Thing Worse Than a Rapist is a famous line from the webseries Neighborhood Patrol, followed by its equally famous answer: "A child." This scene was parodied in many object labeling and redraw memes in the nine years since it aired, with users sometimes changing aspects of the scene to express irrational hatred towards someone or something.

Origin

On September 29th, 2013, Brandon Rogers released the second episode of Neighborhood Patrol, "Pedo Hunt," gaining over 10.6 million views as of 2022. At the beginning of the episode, main character Louis Boyd starts a presentation about child rapists, but his dramatic reveal of the word "child" is misinterpreted by his friend Philip. This quickly became the most popular gag out of the entire series.

A Vine video of this scene^[1] was uploaded on October 26th, 2015. It was similarly popular, cumulating 509.8k Likes, 237.2k Revines and 99.4 millions of views as of 2022, and helped to popularize this gag even further. It later was shared on r/videos^[2], where it gained 17.1k upvotes and 1k comments, and uploaded on YouTube (below), where it gained 2 million likes.

Over the following years, the viral video inspired two types of memes: object labeling and redraws. Of the former, some popular examples include a Hollow Knight meme posted by SolaireTheDank420 in /r/HollowKnightMemes^[3] that gained over 4,000 points (shown below, left) and a literary meme tweeted by @SparkNotes^[4] that gained over 1,000 retweets and 4,000 likes (shown below, right).

Popular redraws include a DeviantArt post by SuchiMonix^[5] using My Hero Academia characters (shown below, left) and a redraw by Dulcamarra^[6] that used Star Wars characters (shown below, right).
