This Dog Is Fucked Up Bruh refers to a viral exploitable image macro of the Aussiepoo dog Nori Porkchop edited in the style of a social media post or official playlist artwork by Spotify. After going viral in late July 2022, the image gained virality as a non sequitur spam reaction image on Discord and other social media and has been used in edits.

Origin

In January 2020, the Aussiepoo dog Nori Porkchop went viral on Twitter^[1][2] due to his humanlike face and his perceived resemblance to actor Seth Rogen (shown below, center and right). The photograph of Nori used in memes was originally posted on the dog's Instagram^[3] account on June 29th, 2018 (shown below, left).

Prior to July 31st, 2022, an unknown user created an image macro copying the style of Spotify's official playlist artwork and social media posts, captioning the dog, "this dog is fucked up bruh" (shown below). On that day, Instagram^[4] user squidyz made the earliest found repost of the image, which gained over 124,000 likes in one month (shown below, left). On August 1st, 2022, Twitter^[5] user @bwahwtfbwah reposted the image, with the tweet gaining over 7,400 retweets and 87,500 likes in the same period.

Spread

In August 2022, the image then gained virality as a non sequitur shitpost on Discord and other social media. For example, on August 25th, 2022, Twitter^[6] user @StarmanSweg posted a screenshot of a Discord exchange in which a user correctly predicted that an image that failed to upload was the macro. The tweet received over 9,600 retweets and 108,300 likes (shown below).

In addition to being used for spam and shitposting purposes, the image also saw use as source material for edits and references.
