I've also checked /v/to see if they were discussing the article and stumbled on this picture (cropped out a few of the epic reaction replies to trim the fat)- in short, they're implying that the straps are bent too wide for where they should be, and that they're still caught on" where they were before the "reduction" As for reduction, I do believe the original battle model had bigger breasts (at least in visible volume, as the sports bra might really be squeezing them down in- universe), but that's beside the point. I did look at several models in the game and they're comparable to Tifa's current model now, as well as concept art. The only two models I could find that weren't were the overworld model (which are exaggerated anyway) and one cutscene where her boobs are huge. For a start, f------ hell. Tifa's still got plenty big boobs. I mean don't get me wrong, I think the big boobs thing had its place in the 1990s when computer graphics were still not very sophisticated and exaggerated body features helped to differentiate characters, but in today's 4K world it's hardly an issue any more. Like I said before, I think FFVII fanboys/girls are like Shrodinger's cat insofar as they want a game that's exactly the same but completely different at the same time. And secondly, even if you still think it's so terrible, hello, this Tomb Raider game came out 6 years ago. It's not as if you haven't had enough advanced warning of what they were going to do to classic videogame characters.

The issue with Tifa's outfit in FFVIIR isn't that it's bad In a vacuum, it's a nice design, and it fits the character well. But it strays too far from the look that defined the character.
