About
"Unicorn After Wisdom Teeth" is a viral video of a girl under the influence of dental gas just following oral surgery. The subject matter is essentially the same as the highly popular David After Dentist, although it is less controversial since the woman in the video is not nearly as young as David was.
Origin
On March 20th, 2010, the Youtube account Unicornpp was created and the video Unicorn After Wisdom Teeth was uploaded.
Spread
On April 4th, the video appeared on the Croatian site net.hr.
On April 5th, 2010 Top 50 Buzzfeed user Malcolmlab submitted the video to Buzzfeed under the name Unicorn Girl After Dentist earning around 15,000 views and earning the "viral" badge.
That same day, the video was reuploaded to Collegehumor.com, Break.com and Today's Big Thing.
By April 6th, the video was featured on the Japanese hiroburo.com.
On April 7th, the video was reuploaded on Youtube by three users, and one additional on April 8th.

The Strength of Unicorns
At this point, we have observed that unicorns are a powerful player in the world of Internet memes. Previous viral phenomena such as Cornify, Charlie the Unicorn, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, Robocop on a Unicorn, Robot Unicorn Attack, and the unicorns present in many instances of the Puking Rainbows meme illustrate that the internet has a more than adequate reverence for the single-horned beast. By simply mentioning a unicorn while in an altered state, the girl in the video injected a little bit of SEO juice into what might have been an otherwise unremarkable "after dentist" video.
An all-time high for unicorn searches
The creation of the video and the Unicornpp account seem to have come as a response to an all-time peak in Unicorn searches.
On March 9th, the Bahrain-based Unicorn Investment Bank made international headlines after reports that the firm was close to finalizing a Saudi asset management deal. This news played an important role in boosting the overall searches for unicorns, although much of it is also related to Robot Unicorn Attack.
