Origin

On January 15th, 2020, Twitter user @shezdying^[2] posted a screenshot of Mortimer Mouse from the Disney short Mickey's Rival,^[1] writing, "this bitch was surged up, 7 years on mones, waist on fuck blue lives. if i was giving non binary telfar baddie like her i wouldn't know how to act." The tweet (shown below). gained at least 1,600 retweets, 1,000 quote-tweets and 10,000 likes before it was deleted.

The tweet began seeing significant use as a copypasta roughly 18 months later as users paired the text with humorous images. For example, on July 18th, 2021, Twitter user @___soltu^[3] used it with a recently found medieval statue of Jesus Christ on the cross, gaining over 90 retweets and 700 likes in two years (shown below, left). On August 20th, user @antwou^[4] used the copypasta with an art sculpture, gaining over 300 likes in the same timeframe (shown below, right).

The copypasta continued seeing use through 2023. On July 27th, 2023, Twitter user @BhadDad^[5] posted a tweaked version of the copypasta with a photo of Albert Einstein, gaining over 300 retweets and 2,500 likes in two months (shown below, left). On May 11th, user @saintomaniac^[6] used it with Yeonmi Park, gaining over 1,100 retweets and 6,300 likes in four months (shown below, right).
