What the Hell Goin’ On With This Nigga’s Beard, continued This Nigga's Beard Long and Short at the Same Time, refers to a copypasta based on a voiceover of a viral video showing a Black man with a faint beard talking while wearing a "Roc the Mic" shirt and hat. The man's beard was humorously ridiculed online because of how thin it was, generating nicknames like "Temu beard" and "ghost beard." The original video was posted to Instagram by user @duskopoppington in late 2023. Through viral reposts shared on Twitter / X (and elsewhere) in early 2024, a series of AI voice parodies surfaced in which characters like Goku, SpongeBob and Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks, among others, read the copypasta.

On December 12th, 2023, Instagram[1] user @duskopoppington posted a Reel of a man named Bengy Jones promoting his podcast called Roc the Mic. The video received roughly 660,000 views and 4,400 likes in two months (shown below).
On December 12th, 2023, multiple Instagram users posted comments that joked about Jones' beard. Many of the comments became top comments (shown below), like one posted by Instagram user @icutthair that read, "My boy rocking the boneless beard 😂," gaining over 11,000 likes in two months.
