This term originated from the Valve game Team Fortress 2. It describes the play-style of new or inexperienced Pyro players whose only tactic is to run straight at the enemy while holding down the "fire" button. Often this term is used by players who have been defeated by this tactic, and is a form of excuse as to why they were pwned by a noob. Equally used for disdain for players using certain class, Pyro in this instance.
Similar to the term "Demomaggot" except demomaggot applies to the tendency of some Demoman players to rush at the enemy with melee weapons. Note that this term does not only apply to TF2, it can describe any noob player (whether they are actually noobs is up to debate) who runs straight for the enemy with guns blazing.P.S.
