On July 13th, 2019, the men's doubles finals were held at the Wimbledon tennis championship. That day, Twitter user @TylerRuinsTV tweeted a video of attendee and actor Woody Harrelson attempting to return to his seat. They captioned the video, "drunk woody harrelson being kept from his seats at wimbledon is a huge mood." The post received more than 4 million views, 205,000 likes and 36,000 retweets in two days (shown below).

Throughout the day, @TylerRuinsTV and others continued to post videos of Harrelson's behavior. Minutes after the initial post, Twitter[1] user @byChrisJoseph tweeted a series of images from the moment. They captioned the image, "A stirring tale of loss, endurance and triumph at #Wimbledon in three acts, starring @WoodyHarrelson." The post received more than 7,000 likes and 1,000 retweets in two days (shown below).

Twitter user @BradGalli retweeted a video of Harrelson reacting to a player being hit with a tennis ball. They captioned the post, "Tennis player at Wimbledon gets hit in groin Director: CUT TO WOODY HARRELSON." The post received more than 1.5 million views, 77,000 likes and 16,000 retweets in two days (shown below).


The following day, Redditor [8] Blogger32123 posted the video of the player getting hit. The post received more than 385 points (91% upvoted) in 24 hours.
