Working!! Season 2 OP Parodies (Japanese: WORKING'!!OPパロ) refers to a series of parody video remixes for the opening credit movie for 2nd TV anime season of Japanese 4-panel comic strip manga series Working!! written by Karino Takatsu. As well as the opening credit movie for the 1st season, this 2nd season opening credit movie also became to a subject for parody on the Japanese video sharing service niconico Douga (niconico) in 2011.
Origin
The 2nd TV anime season for the manga, Working'!! aired 13 episodes between October and December in 2011. Its theme song "COOLISH WALK" was composed by Kakeru Ishihama[1] and sung by voice actresses for the main characters Kana Asumi[2], Saki Fujita[3] and Eri Kitamura.[4] This opening credit movie was created by Kiyotaka Ohata as same as the 1st season.
Spread
Parody videos for this 2nd season's opening movie have been uploaded to niconico since after the start of airing. And most of them are created in the MAD video style.[5] Additionally, instrumental covers, mashups or remixes for this song are also posted to niconico.[6] Meanwhile, massive deletion that happend in the 1st season by the copyright holder Aniplex hasn't happened for the 2nd season.
