About

Wow, I Can't Find a Flaw in His Logic is an exploitable image macro from the 2000 television series Malcolm in the Middle. Often used as a single reaction image or as a two-panel format, it depicts Malcolm talking to his brother Reese and eventually reacting with the quote to an above hot take. It is most prevalent on Reddit, trending in late July and early August 2021.

Origin

On April 2nd, 2000, the 10th episode of Malcolm in the Middle aired.[1] In it, Malcolm and his brother Reese spot the door of a room that is labeled as "forbidden" (seen below).

Reese: Hey. Look at that. Let's check it out.
Malcolm: I don't know. It doesn't just say "keep out," it says "forbidden."
Reese: And they wouldn't bother making it "forbidden" if it wasn't something totally bitching on the other side.
Malcolm (to the camera): Wow. I can't find a flaw in his logic.

In 2013, the image (seen below, click to expand) was uploaded to Memecenter[2] by user ZeldaTwilight showing the exchange between the two characters and is the earliest known example of the scene being used in meme format.

He has no idea that it's overtaken him; he no longer sees all the little cumulative evils that the Republic tolerates and fosters, from slavery to endless wars, and he never asks, "Why are we not acting to stop this?"
