About

Xaviersobased Reacting To Jaydes, also known as I Gotta Do My Research, refers to a reaction video that shows American rapper Xaviersobased reacting to news about underground artist Jaydes being on the run for brutally stabbing a woman. Xavier can be seen leaning over to read the comments on his Instagram live while dressed in a white shirt, saying, "You're lying, he ain't do that. He did that? He really did that. I gotta do my research, I gotta do my research." The video came to be used as a reaction meme to joke about being gullible or learning new facts and conspiracy theories on X / Twitter in November 2024.

Police began looking for South Florida underground rapper Jaydes after his ex-girlfriend launched accusations of attempted murder against him. Jaydes reportedly stabbed her multiple times after she refused his advances.[1]

The clip was reposted by X user @crazysilly2013 on November 7th.[8]
