XXXTentacion Half-Face Mashups refers to a series of exploitable memes where the late rapper XXXTentacion's face is photoshopped alongside another deceased person. The meme originates from a combined tribute to XXXTentacion and Stan Lee, and has since been used to satirically eulogize famous celebrities. The meme also contributed to a trend where the rapper's song "Moonlight" was remixed or "mashed-up" with various other songs.
Origin
In March 2018, photographer Jack Mccain did a photoshoot with rapper XXXtentacion, and released a series of images including a shot of the rapper with blue dreads (seen below).
On November 12th, 2018, Twitter[1] user @Froste uploaded an image sourced from a now-defunct Instagram meme page named @rippedmargiela. The image depicted XXXtentacion's face merged with deceased comic book writer Stan Lee. The tweet gathered nearly a 1,000 likes in over four years (seen below).
On November 23rd, Instagram page @professorpumpp posted a video of XXXtentacion's face mashed with Nyannyancosplay of Hit Or Miss fame. The post has gathered over 200,000 views in the four years since it's upload.

On November 12th 2018, Twitter[2] user @riplimewire tweeted about wanting to be eulogized with a "funny ass split pic of me and xxxtentacion’s face." The post gathered over 4,000 likes in nearly four years (seen below).
On November 25th, 2018, YouTube[5] channel Stumbler uploaded a compilation of XXXtentacion's "Moonlight" mashups, gathering over 100,000 views in nearly four years (seen below)
On December 1st, 2018, Twitter[4] user @leakiestfaucet tweeted, "News of death is now conveyed in XXXtentacion half face memes," and gathered over 1,000 likes in nearly four years (seen below).
On September 18th, 2020, Twitter[3] user @1i7773 posted a version of the meme featuring deceased Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. The post has gathered 20,000 likes in two years (seen below).
