Origin

On July 16th, 2024, TikToker^[4] @lyf3styler137 posted a screen recording of someone else's slideshow that focused on rappers Ken Carson and XXXTentacion. The slideshow read, "Yes he's a hitmaker / songwriter / superstar, right? / And a fucking overrated copy that should never be a debate / Meet jah." The screen recording received over 3,000 plays in a month (shown below).

A month later, a thread surfaced on X^[1] about the slideshow and X^[2] user @DDM_qaudex posted a screenshot of a TikToker named MDH𖣂 who allegedly posted the original slideshow. MDH𖣂 was said to be TikToker^[3] @.yungdaggerdick09 whose account was deleted sometime in August 2024 for unknown reasons.

On July 20th, 2024, TikToker^[5] @skiesdalim1t posted a screen recording of the slideshow, that ended by saying the Just Put My Fries In the Bag Bro catchphrase, receiving over 238,600 plays and 14,800 likes in a month (shown below).

On August 8th, 2024, X^[1] user @KmaFr_ tweeted screenshots of the original slideshow, captioning them, "I don’t think I’ve ever cringed so hard," receiving over 6,700 likes in six days (shown below).

Memes referencing Meet Jah continued in August 2024. For instance, on August 12th, TikToker^[6] @crashout.boy92 posted a video of a baby dancing with text reading, "Meet mini Jah." In two days, the video received roughly 256,600 plays and 46,900 likes (shown below).
