You Bitches Be Like X But Are Actually Horrible Human Beings is a phrasal template where "X" is a string of Emojis or images meant to represent a specific mood. The phrase became popularized on sites including Twitter and Instagram throughout 2021, often overtop of an image of D'Arreion Toles staring at the camera, the same image used in the I May Not Show It meme.
Origin
On April 21st, 2021, Twitter[1] user @tatsinluv posted, "u bitches b like π§π»ββοΈππ¦π§Ώπ§ββοΈ but r actually horrible human beings," garnering over 35,000 likes in two years (shown below). This is the earliest known use of the format.
On a date prior to September 20th, 2021, now-deleted Instagram user hollowcloth posted a meme using a similar caption over an image of DβArreion Toles, whose photo was shared by News.com.au[2] in 2018 in relation to a story about a woman who was fired after refusing to let him enter the apartment building where they both lived. The photo was posted to Facebook[11] as early as 2015. The meme was reposted on that day by Instagram[3] user godinexcapucha and by Instagram[4] user epicjoko on September 26th, garnering over 307,000 likes in two years (shown below).

The meme became increasingly popular over the following years, often using the same image. On October 21st, 2021, Twitter[5] user @Daboyui posted a version of the meme that gained over 63,000 likes in just over a year (shown below, left). On October 28th, Redditor brianz_d posted the original meme to /r/okbuddyretard,[6] garnering over 3,700 upvotes in the same rough span of time. On November 21st, a version of the meme was posted to iFunny[7] that gained over 20,000 smiles in the same span of time (shown below, right).
On August 31st, 2022, Twitter[8] user @FLMito posted a version of the meme that gained over 107,000 likes in eight months (shown below). On December 31st, a Redditor shared a version of the meme to /r/animecirclejerk[9] referencing Berserk, garnering over 1,100 upvotes in four months. On April 20th, 2023, Twitter[10] user @ShitpostGate posted a version of the meme that gained over 45,000 upvotes in a day.
