A game of YTP Tennis is relatively simple. The idea is to make a Youtube Poop…out of another Youtube Poop. The finished product of a game of YTP Tennis may look something like this:

Now here's how it works.

The game goes in rounds, and typically starts with someone making a Poop, like such:

The poop is then pooped in Round Two, and can have new media added, but not much. Typically the first pooper must wait until the opponent accepts the challenge.

Then once they accept, the original pooper makes a poop of the opponent's poop in round three.

And then in round four, the opponent makes a poop of that new poop.

And so on and so on until one admits defeat/can't continue for some reason.

On Youtube, occasionally the tennis may result in prizes, like a requested video of some sort or a role in a video they produce. There is no limit to the rounds, but they typically don't go further than about five.

Occasionally but not very often, YTP Tennis matches may be created using YTPMVs. An example of such follows:

However, this type of Tennis, also known as YTP Soccer, does not nessicarily use the same format as normal Tennis, rather, the two have a choice of using completely different media next round, taking bits and pieces from their opponent's, or just redoing their opponent's poop completely.

Although they do not use the same formats, the two players have a choice of sticking with a theme. These two videos in particular were done by two people sticking with choices of songs from the video game MOTHER 3. Picking media choices from a certain source can last anywhere from two rounds to the whole game of Soccer.
