As Elon Musk struggles to get advertisers to return to his platform on account of his repeated pushings of conspiracy theories, he allowed back onto Twitter one of the world's most infamous conspiracy theorists in Alex Jones and subsequently hosted a chat with him in an X Spaces conversation that was largely upstaged by the sound of Vivek Ramaswamy going to the bathroom.

While Musk and Jones were discussing depopulation, urination sounds could be heard, to which Jones cried "Somebody's got their thing out."

That somebody was apparently the Republican presidential candidate, who upon return, laughed off the gaffe, saying he felt "much better" and the conversation, which also included Michael Flynn and conservative critics Jack Posobiec, Jackson Hinkle and CJ Pearson, continued.

Jones' return to the platform seemed to prove to many that Musk is pushing the site more to the right, and Jones was permanently banned from the platform by the old Twitter regime in 2018 due to targeted harassment.

His return was met with notable pushback from people who believed he should not have a platform due to his pushing of Sandy Hook conspiracies and other controversial conspiracy theories.

Alex Jones conspiracy theories. Not going to win back advertisers this way

The moment is yet another in a long line of mishaps that have come from Musk's use of Twitter / X's features to platform conservative voices.

Earlier this year, Musk notably used Spaces to help launch the presidential campaign of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, though it was not a well-regarded event due to technical difficulties.
