In the middle of an NFL game last night, the Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin was tackled by a player, striking him in the chest. Hamlin then had to be rushed out of the arena after suffering cardiac arrest, believed to be caused by the tackle itself.
This belief is what football and third-party doctors stated following the injury, and largely what the leading thought online was regarding the cardiac arrest and Hamlin's condition, which is now reportedly listed as critical.
Since the tragic incident yesterday, users online have weighed in on Hamlin's injury in droves, many voicing their support or expressing their well wishes.

However, since the news has spread online like wildfire overnight, there has been an increased push on social media among some anti-vaxxers to attempt to point to Dr. Fauci and the CDC with an increased focus on the COVID-19 vaccine itself — spreading conspiracy theories that the "clot shot" (as some call it) is the cause of these types of injuries.
This partly stems from a highly controversial and speculative documentary called Died Suddenly, which purports that sports players having cardiac arrest moments will increase and that it was known to be a side-effect of the vaccine but was ignored. This caused a secondary agenda to be created and pushed, one where Hamlin's cardiac arrest was supposedly due to him taking the vaccine — despite no evidence supporting this.
Like it or not, Damar Hamlin collapsing on the field last night has opened the eyes of all Americans… The effects of the COVID vaccine must be investigated.

So is anyone going to address the 800lb elephant in the room? You know, the adverse reactions to the jab… #DamarHamlin pic.twitter.com/0HPo4EKLUT

A problem with the commotio cordis theory for Damar Hamlin (besides the extreme rarity especially with such a minor collision)…
After the impact, he rose from prone to standing and took five steps. Asystolic patients don’t do that. His cardiac arrest happened well after impact.— Milton Wolf (@MiltonWolfMD) January 3, 2023
Routine tackle vs punishing assaults, cardiac arrest doesn’t make sense. pic.twitter.com/73oZwfhn5h

This, as usual, caused a counter-movement in which people began attacking those who were saying that the vaccine was the cause of the cardiac arrest, causing the entire thing to come full circle as the injury itself took second stage among some circles and Hamlin's injury became another part of the long-going vaccine vs. no vaccine debate.
Anyone who thinks the #CovidVaccine caused #DamarHamlin’s injury really needs to take off the tinfoil hat. NO ONE will ever take you seriously again.

Doctor @BrianSuttererMD Explains The Cause of Damar Hamlin's Cardiac Arrest :
- What happened to Damar Hamlin has NO relation with any Vaccine
- It's most likely a rare condition called Commotio Cordis which can be life-threatening#DamarHamlin #BillsMafia #Bills #NFL pic.twitter.com/E5LKRGyPhj— OG's Sports Coverage (@amir7reza7) January 3, 2023
20 million people watching a 24-year-old NFL player go into cardiac arrest during a Football game and they are going to try to deflect from the reason that we all know it happened. F these people.

Hate to say it as an American, but surely we have to be the stupidest nation in the world overall. Yesterday an NFL player sustained a blunt force trauma that forced him into cardiac arrest on national tv. Today we have people saying his cardiac arrest was due to vaccines.

Every cardiac arrest is now blamed on the vaccine. Every weather event is due to climate change. Every case of autism is due to the MMR vaccine. Every terrorist named Ahmad was fighting against the Zionist occupation. Every mass shooting is due to the existence of the 2nd

According to Damar Hamlin's team, the Bills issued a statement this afternoon and said he spent last night in the intensive care unit and remains there in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The NFL has also released a statement and said the game will not be resumed this week.
