The acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse after shot two protestors in Kenosha, Wisconsin remains a touchy subject in America, as many left-leaning onlookers still have serious doubts about his self-defense defense in the case and many right-leaning supporters laud him as a hero. In an apparent attempt to further trigger the libs, video game developers Nordic Empire Games have crafted a video game inspired by Rittenhouse's shooting, but even by the standards of recent cringeworthy attempts at lib-triggering, many critics say the game isn't as shocking as it is embarrassing.

Acquitted, subtitle Self-Defense vs. The Braindead, features a backward-hatted protagonist who looks a lot like Rittenhouse gunning down zombies that are clearly conservative stereotypes of the modern liberal. Some zombies have multi-colored hair, others wave Antifa and communist flags and others are enormously overweight.

Currently, the game has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, though many of the reviews seem to praise the game for its politics rather than its gameplay.

"After so many years of pedos and terrorists running censorship, this is a breath of fresh air and hope. Love this game!" one reviewer with 0.3 hours of playtime on record wrote.

"I must say, it's a fun, light hearted experience," wrote another with 0.1 hours of playtime.

"You play as a young straight white male who engages in self defense against mindless pink haired pantifa and collectives of commie zombies. After annihilating each wave of the hordes of pedo-socialist scum, you return to court to stand trial for self defense only to inevitably be ACQUITTED by a jury of your peers (as you should be). I look forward to an expansion where you sue the pants off the slanderous, lying, filthy, media talking heads and become a young multimillionaire. This game truly does hold true to the phrase, "f**k around and find out". 10/10. Would commit self defense again."

Others haven't been as kind towards the gameplay, with negative reviewers unfavorably comparing its quality to old Flash games. Kotaku also noted that there was barely any "game" in the game, writing:

Each new “level” has slightly harder enemies, maybe some bosses, but is otherwise identical to the last. Movement is clumsy, the 2D side-on character barely connected to the top-down backdrop, while zombies just move in your direction and nothing more. There is a range of weapons, but changing them is so unwieldy that it makes far more sense to just stick with the semi-automatic rifle. You just hold down the fire button, it reloads for you. And, er, that’s it. That’s the whole “game.”

Meanwhile, some conservatives are crowing about how much the product will trigger leftists, such as Andy Ngo, who has been posting about the game on social media.

Though many conservatives are eagerly anticipating leftists seething at Acquitted, a brief perusal of the results from searching “Acquittal Game” on Twitter shows many conservatives anticipating lefty rage and little to no lefties raging.

Of note, William Hahne, a developer of the game, is the co-founder of the Swedish far-right political party Alternative For Sweden, which has chosen as its core issue the repatriation of Swedish emigrants, based on "a deep conviction that Sweden has no future as long as remigration does not become a reality. The party believes that repatriation will ensure "our children and grandchildren can grow up in a Swedish and safe Sweden."
