Woman Claims Jacob Wohl Pressured Her To Falsely Accuse Dr. Fauci Of Sexual Assault

As Jesse Pinkman once said, He can't keep getting away with this.

Jacob Wohl, a pro-Trump provacateur who along with Jack Burkman has grown infamous for attempting to drum up transparently bogus sexual assault accusations against Robert Mueller, Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg, was apparently at it again, and had his sights set on Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the American medical face of the coronavirus pandemic who has recently developed a frosty relationship with Donald Trump.

The story was broken by Nancy Rommelmann of Reason.com, who reported she had received an email from a "Diane Rodriguez," who gave what Rommelmann described as "a collision of Harlequin romance and #MeToo" story about Fauci allegedly sexually assaulting Rodriguez in 2014.

"Several journalists called into a conference call to hear Rodriguez's story," writes Rommelmann. "We were treated, instead, to Wohl and Burkman on the line, stating they'd on the fly been invited to represent Rodriguez, who haltingly told a story that varied significantly from the media alert and, when questioned for clarification, was talked over by Wohl."

On Saturday, Rommelmann reported that she had received another email from the accuser, confessing that her real name is Diane Andrade and that she had been offered money from Wohl, an ex-romantic partner, to come up with the story. She also claimed that Wohl and Burkman attempted to get her to do "something like this" in January. The line for her was crossed when the pair asked if she could think of any other women who would join their scheme. She provided Rommelmann with audio of her conversation with Wohl and Burkman in which she backed out of the deal.

"Let me tell you something, Diana," Burkman said on the call. "This guy (Fauci) shut the country down. He put 40 million people out of work. In a situation like that, you have to make up whatever you have to make up to stop that train and that's the way life works, OK? That's the way it goes."

"Diana, look, can you just do this for me?" said Wohl. "Can you just keep your mouth shut and just…just do it for me."

Wohl evidently encouraged Andrade to retell a story about her own, actual sexual assault as a story about Fauci this time and a "Hollywood actor" in January. She still wishes good things for Wohl, but expressed a sentiment that anyone following the various misadventures of Jacob Wohl shares.

"I don't know how they do all these things and why they do all these things," Andrade told Rommelmann. "Also, he tried to frame Mueller…I'm like, how is he not in jail?"
