YouTube beauty guru and social media influencer James Charles has, once again, been accused of grooming teenagers, this time by a 16-year-old who posted screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Charles.

Jake Cherry, who posted a TikTok video in February of screenshots and text messages that he alleges were sent from Charles, said that the social media influencer also sent him nude photographs and allegedly pressured him to do the same. Cherry is said to be 16-years-old.

Charles called the accusations "completely false" in a statement. He also said that the fan said that he was 18-years-old, and after finding out the fan's actual age, he said he became "uncomfortable" with their interactions.

However, according to Dextero, two other minors have accused Charles of grooming. One of the accusers, a 17-year-old, says that they told Charles their age. Charles proceeded with the relationship, they claim. Another alleges that Charles, who they say stipulated that he was only interested in friendship, used words like "daddy and "babe."

Charles became the subject of criticism on social media in light of the allegations. Many who follow Charles and other influencers claim that the accusations indicate a pattern of behavior from the social media star.

The accusations have begun to cut into Charles' bottom line. Earlier this week, YouTube removed Charles from the second season of the reality show Instant Influencer. Charles previously hosted the first season, which saw contestants perform a series of beauty-related challenges for the chance to win $50,000.
