When Queen Elizabeth II died two weeks ago, one part of the internet was inundated with Future Sending Exes Texts memes, as the event easily lent itself to tweets like "The Queen dying reminded me how I should have never let my love for a queen die," etc.

Incredibly, Kanye West's thoughts on the Queen's passing appear to be nearly identical to those memes, as last night he posted to his Instagram Stories, "London, I know how you feel. I lost my queen too."

Most assume that the "queen" Kanye is referring to is ex-wife Kim Kardashian, whom he purportedly appeared to have driven off with his escalating antics. He then proceeded to harass her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson in an exhausting cycle that potentially closed all doors for the pair reuniting.

Kanye's "tribute" to Brits mourning the Queen's death was not exactly timely or comforting, but it was at least very funny to many on social media.

Some thought that West could be referring to his late mother, Donda West, who passed away in 2007. Whatever the case may be, Kanye's thoughts last night on the Queen are somehow more sensitive than his previous reaction, which saw him post a picture of the Queen in Yeezy shades.
