Knicks Beat Reporter Fred Katz Earns Laughs And Salutes After Accidentally Linking To Adult Content Site Instead Of Basketball Story
A few weeks ago, basketball's New York Knicks completed a trade that sent players RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for OG Anunoby and two bench players. The trade seems to have worked out well for both teams, as the Knicks are 8-2 since the trade, bolstered by Anunoby's strong defense, while both Barrett and Quickley are performing very well in Toronto.
Fred Katz, Knicks beat writer for The Athletic, wanted to discuss that trade, and took to Twitter / X to link to … Chaturbate creator Diana Emily.
Katz clearly made an error and meant to link to this article in The Athletic (which he successfully did in a second tweet) but it was too late.
At the moment, we don't know for sure why Katz had a link to an adult content creator seemingly Ctrl+C'd on his keyboard, but many online have a pretty solid theory.
We were getting a lil too happy weren’t we Fredward?

While previous adult content-related "oopsies" have led to scandals (see: Ted Cruz), it seems, at least for the time being, that Knicks fans are content to poke fun at Katz but continue supporting him, with some going so far as to cheer him on for what he seems to be doing in his break time.
There is no news yet on how Katz's error has affected the streams of Diana Emily. However, it may be safe to assume Katz yearns for the days when Twitter included previews to links posted on the site, as the late feature would have surely helped Katz avoid this mixup.
