Soon after, in late October and November 2013, X^[2][3] user @desusnice used "crine." In one of the tweets, he mentioned @THEKIDMERO. Both users are from the Bronx in New York City and, as of November 2025, have roughly 298,300 followers and 905,300 followers, respectively, on X.
