As Pokémon leak season continues, another rumored "leak" has gone viral, this time not for providing intriguing clues about the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, but for essentially calling its viewers "dumbass virgins."

The Twitter account @PKMNLeak, instrumental in helping spread more legitimate-looking leaks spread earlier this week, called attention to an evolution for Scarlet and Violet's fire-type starter Fuecoco that circulated on 4chan.

The leaked design looks relatively plausible, capturing the "angry adolescent" feel of the previous starter Pokémon middle-evolutions like Wartortle and Charmeleon.

Of course, anyone with a basic reading comprehension of Japanese was able to tell immediately that the leak was fake. The Japanese in the top right and bottom of the image roughly translates to "dumbass" and "how are you dealing with not having a girlfriend," respectively.

Though this was not immediately clarified by @PKMNLeaks, they acknowledged in a subsequent post that they thought the "idea/design" for the Pokémon was an 8/10.

Though no one on Twitter seemed fooled, it's possible the leak may have duped some on 4chan. At any rate, the fake leak seemed to catch fewer marks than the fake leak from March, which purported to show some new Pokémon added to Gen 9's roster, including "Shartle" and the Grass-Fairy line, "Aniwon," "Canmaka" and "Faekleek."
