YouTuber and multimedia experimenter Markiplier also owns the title of the man whose bowels have trended the most on Twitter, as Markiplier fans have once again celebrated his intestinal activity with a hashtag that took over the site today.
In December 2020, he went to the hospital due to abdominal distress that appeared to be related to constipation. His later successful bowel movement caused #HEPOOPED to trend on Twitter on a day that Twitter's Description Guy likely longs to forget.
Today, Markiplier is again in the hospital for some sort of abdominal distress, telling fans, "Doctors are waiting with baited breath for me to fart as a sign that I won’t need surgery."

Update: Still at the hospital but doing alright. Doctors are waiting with baited breath for me to fart as a sign that I won’t need surgery.

As a means of cheering for Markiplier's intestines, fans have gotten "#HEFARTED" to trend on the platform. As of this moment, Markiplier has not farted, so it seems the hashtag is an anticipatory measure to celebrate Markiplier's future good health.
I just realized the internet is collectively waiting for another @markiplier “I POOPED!” tweet…

It's unclear what medical condition caused this recent blockage. Markiplier has struggled with abdominal issues several times during his time in the public eye. In 2015, he notably had surgery for a blockage in his intestines. He also has had surgery to remove a tumor from his adrenal gland and had surgery to get his appendix removed after doctors discovered it had bloated to the size "of a beach ball."
