Fans of the Pokémon anime know two things: first, Ash was robbed in Kalos, and Pikachu loves ketchup.

Ash's faithful companion first fell in love with ketchup in a first season sight gag, but the image left an indelible mark on Pokémon fans. The Pokémon's love wasn't referenced again for over 200 episodes, but in the Kalos season, Pikachu was reunited with its favorite snack in a sort of ketchup dream ballet.

Yesterday, someone on the Pokémon team realized that there's been a popular meme going around involving pets getting a little of their favorite food, as a treat, and combined Cats Can Have a Little Salami and Pikachu.

It's a very good tweet from a company that's drawn the ire from fans for recent decisions in the mainline games, as the #BringBackNationalDex-centric replies below the tweet prove. However, "Pikachu can have a little ketchup" is surely a campaign all Pokémon fans can get behind.
