As a proud liberal, I certainly don't think we need guns to protect ourselves from corrupt law enforcement if that's what you're implying. That's what body cameras and more transparency/accountability would do. The false dilemma would suggest I want to buy a gun to protect myself from bad cops instead of criminals. Furthermore, the idea -aaaand I fell for it. I took the bait didn't I? Jeez, this always happens to me.
