I had a feeling this would end up happening. It started with a few subtle memes. Then they became a bit more in your face, but still tolerable. Now Nintendo is taking the Memetendo thing a little too much to heart.
Not that I can blame them, mind you. They did prove to be quite popular when they meme'd in moderation.

I suppose that's the lesson we can all take from this. "Mind your memes". Or maybe "Meme in moderation".

Still nowhere close to Sonic the Hedgehog's twitter though.
