It deeply wounds me to know that you're not wrong.
However, M&L: Paper Jam restored a bit of my faith in Paper Mario. Even though it wasn't a Paper Mario game, the traversing of the world and various animations in a majority of the paper characters reminded me of the first Paper Mario games.
