Well, what if I told you that there has been a secret Meme War that has been going on since 2008? Back in the early days of 4chan, memes thrived on /b/ more than any other place on the Internet. At this time, Pepe never went anywhere near GETs and stayed in the reaction image realm, responding to posts with "feels bad/good man." stayed in the reactin FEELS GOODM man At the time, Pepe's influence was respectable but nothing extraordinary. As the time passed, Pepe's reaction images would be posted less and less, and it would fall into obscurity for a little while Cirno's influence on 4chan predates Pepe's by at least one year. In fact, cirno is 4chan's very first GET Avatar who directly inspired the creation of another GET Avatar known as the King of GETs. The small, yet recognizable success of those two would later inspire a non-game, non-anime GET Avatar known as Doubles Guy (Patrick Bateman). Due to his wide appeal, his popularity far eclipsed anything ever seen before in the GET Realm a s is easily the most recognized GET Avatar across the rne da big way. With wars being fought between websites as to who owe "owns Pepe," everything stayed relatively calm. However, posters of Cirno started to get extremely oy ed by how much they were seeing Pepe nd decided to start fighting back. I n 2016, Pepe to combine the Egyptian theme of KoG, the num bers ability of Doubles Guy, and t massive juggernaut of a being that borrowed its name from a popular posters decided meme power of Pe [S4s] meme, topkek. His name was Kek, and his meme magic was unstoppable, even being predicted by an ancient Egyptian tablet and a meme magic CD. At this point, Cirno posters launched an all-out assault against Pepe pe bn (/pol/) Upoll ol) (/biz/) Over and over again, Pepe posters were obliterated by the Cirno posters' ability to get repeating digits. However, no matter how many times Cirno posters tried to put Pepe down, it only seemed to make him stronger. Then, from May 4th to 6th, 2017, a combinati to finally surpass and defeat Pepe for good nts gave Cirno the cha SAY IT WWITH CIRNO QUEEN OF IBANT YWAR NOw With the creation of /bant/ on the 4th (meant to be a combination of /b/ and /pol/ that was discussed on /pol/ days prior), Cir of /bant/, and the literal DEATH of Pepe on the 6th, this allowed the Cirno posters to create a new meme to fight against Pepe: Blepe s mind-blowing 99999 on de Mayo making her the Qu CYQueen In 24 hours time, the Blepe meme EXPLODED onto the Internet. Blepe, or Blue Pepe, comes from Boy's Club, the same comic Pepe came from. Instead of calling him Brett, Cirno posters decided to mock Pepe by calling him Brepe. Unlike Pepe, who is green, Blepe is blue, just like Cirno. Blepe was even connected to Egyptian culture to further mock Pepe. Blepe is Cirno's answer to Pepe and is meant to be an "anti-meme." What this means is that Blepe is not supposed to become popular itself but is supposed to cancel out the popularity of Pepe epe meme once and for all and leave Cirno standing as the strongest, or will Pepe find a way to fight back?
