I'm not saying it doesn't go two ways. No one talks about physically abusive girlfriends but they absolutely do exist. Men are just expected to 'suck it up' instead of doing anything sensible like leaving and/or fighting back.

I am reminded of all the stupid girls who after Sucide Squad came out were so jealous of Harley and Joker. And before that, every one of them who envied Rhianna for getting her face punched in by Chris Brown. I'll never understand why so many people romanticize abuse.
