I'd have to strongly disagree with that. Events have consequences that carry on to each new episode of Rick and Morty. It's one of the least status quo bound shows I've ever seen and comparing it to Xavier isn't really fair because from the start Xavier never really had a quo to status.

R&M does have some really annoying fanboys, though, and it's subreddit is a miserable place.
