Things really went downhill fast for Hulk Hogan.

Does anyone remember that time Superman fought against the KKK? It was kind of a big thing in its day. Superman has always been against racist violence and for that matter more generally against all violence. Except when he goes evil, in which case the kind of fascism he enacts generally doesn't concern itself with race or nationality. All humans are equally inferior to the last son of Krypton, Injustice Super-Hitler.

I'm really looking over this trying to see something that Superman is doing now that hasn't been done before. Something that makes this controversy different. I'm not seeing anything.
