I employee about 100 analysts in Manhattan, and we have a 12,000 square foot office that's always busy and bustling. I'm always at the office making sure everybody is doing analysis. Well, one weekend I thought I could trust my employees to manage themselves. I was invited to speak at a public event in Atlanta, but it ended up getting cancelled due to the building it was supposed to be held in unexpectedly collapsing. Well, I headed back up to the office on Sunday, a day earlier than was expected. I take the elevator up to my floor, open the door to the office and......... My employees were having a giant 100 person o--- all over the office. People f------ on the floor, f------ on the desks, in the bathrooms, closets, cubicles, you 17,645 name it. I dropped what I was holding and everybody goes silent. One of the employees turned off all the lights and like clockwork the rest of them quickly closed the blinds so the room was pitch black, when the lights were turned back on, everybody was back neatly dressed typing away at their desks as if nothing happened. A couple of the employees commented on how odd the brief power outage was. I haven't said anything about it. My girlfriend has started acting like a small child. I'm not sure why but I know she dealt with some abuse as a kid so maybe that contributed? I don't know though because she wasn't Ilike this when we first got together. It started out with her asking me to read her stories at night.I thought okay, this is was kind of cute. She's an insomniac so l thought this might help her with that. Then she bought an "adult" pacifier on Amazon. I'm not gonna lie, this freaked me out a little. She said she bought it to lose weight. Basically to help with the oral fixation part of over-eating. I asked why she couldn't just chew gum or something but she didn't really have an answer. There have been other things too. We share a Netflix account. I looked at our history just out of curiosity. She's been watching a ton of kids shows and movies. Not even like spongebob or shows that can also appeal to teens/adults. I'm talking shows geared toward pre-schoolers. I didn't mention this because I didn't want to embarrass her. There have been other things too. Like buying slime and other stuff on amazon. She says it helps her with stress. But the ones she gets seem like something my 5 year old niece would ask for. Bright pinks and purples with rainbow beads. It's also carried over into her diet. She's become really obsessed with strawberry milk lately.
