Neon Genesis Evangelion → anime made to mock people that love anime too much by appearing faux smart.

Luckystar → anime that deliberately appeals to the people that love anime too much by arguing about asinine things and referencing stuff from old animes.

A ancient all powerful race of aliens create life on Earth, but fuck up by putting two incompatible dominant species on the planet; descendants of lilith (humans) and adam (angels). Adam gets destroyed during second impact, Kawarou (reincarnation of Adam) choses death rather than merging with lilith, cause if he merged with lilith all humans would be permanently dead. When Rei (reincarnation of lilith) merges with lilith human souls go back to lilith, but shinji chooses to end this realizing pain is just a part of life. When he does this humans who are fine with how pain is just a part of life reemerge back out of the primordial ocean. Oh also lcl is just the primordial ocean that allowed life to evolve.
