I think the whole chick-fil-a comparison you're trying to draw is a bit wrong. With chick-fil-a it was an attempt at boycotting and regardless of if democrat lawmakers vocally supported the boycott it's not like democrat lawmakers drafted up bills to punish the company and announced that they would pass these bills unless the company complied with their worldview. With delta georga lawmakers literally drafted up this bill in order to punish delta from dropping their NRA sponsorship after telling delta that if they didn't reconsider their stance on the NRA that they would draft a bill to punish them. If the georga gop had just pushed a boycott it would be a different story because there's a whole world of difference between a state senator saying "I don't think you should fly with delta" and a senator saying "unless delta complies we will punish them".
He's talking about the one who opposed gay marriage and used Chick-Fil-A to donate to organizations that promoted discriminatory legislation against LGBT civil rights.
