It seems to be some unspoken rule, both on and off the internet, that any party that attempts to make changes that they claim are in pursuit of "a better, more positive environment" or some variant thereof ends up greatly fucking over themselves and anyone associated with then.

Ok, I don't really follow any NSFW Tumblr blogs, but genuinely fuck this shit. Some people's livelihoods depend on the art they draw and post on sites like Tumblr, even if it is dirty and raunchy, and it pisses me off that this supposedly "progressive and inclusive" site is going full-on prude and trying to shut it down for no good reason. Even putting aside whether people's income is gonna tank because of this, what exactly is the harm in letting it stay on the site and coding up a filter for adult content on the dashboard, instead of purging it like a disease?
