I think the "problem" with Battletoads is that from what they showed, made the game look really slow paced compared to the original games. Whether that's actually the case or not, I dunno, but I can see why people wouldn't like the trailer.

As for Contra? It's clearly a budget title, nothing wrong with that, but probably not the best thing to show during a major presentation.
