I rememeber seeing that just one of those men – Jeff Bezos to be specific- if he didn't get to write off so much on his income taxes that money would be 150% of the amount needed to solve the homelessness problem in America fully. And if Bezos did pay that amount he wouldn't become poor; he's still be ultra-rich.

So maybe the problem isn't that the rich can't afford to pay taxes – its that its too easy for them to bitch their way out of it with lobbying (aka legalized bribery). Maybe we need go to back to the days when rich people paid taxes. The alternative is to eat the rich, but I think we should try the taxes thing first. I'm a moderate in that regard.
