I'm telling you man, this is nothing. I've been there, you know? The game itself, the Steam forums, the Reddit sub; you quickly discover just how deteriorated the mental state of the playerbase is. These people have been surviving for more than a decade with minimal updates and countless "Updated localization files". They hopelessly believe there will be a Heavy Update, they keep the game alive themselves, they don't know the words "reason" or "fear".
Don't you understand? They're not there because it's a flawless game or a good bunch of lads; they're there because it's an asylum. They make it look like they're enjoying their time, but they just can't escape.
Few have managed to make the run, but it stays with you AND THEY KNOW THAT I KNOW!
All those unusuals…
All those rocket jumps…
All those sprays…
All those taunts…
I CAN'T GET THEM OUT MAN!
