Stuff like this is why I sometimes wish regular villagers had individual backstories and characterizations rather than being assigned to a limited series of templates.

Granted, doing something like that with such a large cast of characters would be wildly impractical, so I unfortunately don't anticipate it happening anytime soon, if at all.

I swear we're one ancient artefact away from this being the plot to Yu-gi-oh!
