I also really wish people would stop referring to George Floyd as black. He may have LOOKED black, but you never EVER know if there's a small chance of a person being transracial.

Just listen to people who clearly knew and supported him, and that should clear it up rather quickly.
In the hypothetical situation that someone wasn't cis, but did not ask for alternate pronouns:
