I've seen a lot of greentexts; from alleged soldiers; alleged doctors; and guaranteed losers; and people; I gotta tell ya, it's all fake news. This though, this is the best greentext around. It's got the finest points, the widest applicability, and, of course, the best subjects.

I have a theory about it. Confidence is like a society-wide natural resource. There's an unspoken contract to only draw on it when you're speaking what you understand to be true, so that true things can get boosted and everyone can benefit. If too many people use it, it becomes devalued.

Unfortunately, for sociopaths and psychopaths who don't care about how others are affected, they have no reservations on being as confident as they can possibly be, boosting their own assertions for their own benefit.

The success of this method is helped by the fact that human brains love patterns, and that they project themselves on others to save time and energy. Ordinary people project their priority to say and believe true things onto psychopaths and sociopaths, they can't conceive of someone breaking the normal pattern of having those priorities.

Extremely confident manipulators are actual brain/society hackers.
