To A Mouse is a poem written by Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, after accidently destroying the nest of a field mouse whilst ploughing a field just before the onset of winter and feeling guilty about it, as he never intended to cause it any harm and knowing that it probably won't have time to build a new one before the onset of the winter snow. It is from this poem that the famous novel, Of Mice and Men, gets its title and tells more or less the same story. In all honesty, if you get a chance to try a haggis, you really should. They taste much, much better than they sound. The vegetarian ones are really nice too if you can't stomach a proper one.
